GETTING STARTED
To begin the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway account activation process, you will be prompted to verify your identity, and create a unique Login ID, Password and a Secret Question and Answer for your Merchant Interface account at https://account.authorize.net. Please keep this information safe. If you have questions regarding your Login ID, Password, or Secret Question and Answer please contact Customer Support.
You will also be prompted to verify your account information, read and accept the online Merchant Service Agreement, and provide some additional information to complete your payment gateway account setup.
During this process, you will be required to provide your merchant bank account information for the automated monthly billing of payment gateway service fees. This information is collected and stored securely in compliance with the highest payments industry security standards. To avoid billing errors, please keep your billing information current. You may update your billing information at any time in the Merchant Interface.
The Merchant Interface is a secure Web site where you can manage your payment gateway account, submit and review transactions, search transactions, configure account and transaction settings, view billing statements, and more!

CHOOSING A CONNECTION METHOD
When integrating your Web site, order fulfillment application, or a payment processing device to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway, we highly recommend using the Advanced Integration Method (AIM) connection method, which provides the highest level of security and transaction-processing protection. For information on choosing the right connection method for your business, please see the Implementation Guides. After you have completed your account activation, you may access these guides in the Merchant Interface by clicking the "Help" button at the top of the page and then selecting "Reference and User Guides."
Please note that integrating to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway requires Web programming. You will need a knowledgeable Web developer to manage your payment gateway integration.
